On the 9th April 2002, Newstalk was launched bringing Dublin a real talk alternative for the first time. I am tuning in to newstalk now for the last 2 years, the breakfast show right up to lunchtime and on to Mr Hook himself.If I am working late into the evening I will tune into off the ball. I have to say news talk has raised the bar for Irish radio and is leaving all the other stations playing catch up. Well done to all the teams and keep up the good work.

We have just spent a lovely family holiday in County Wexford and listened to Tom Dunne – really enjoyed the programme. Will try to listen now we are back at home.
